SMS

For our users in Denmark, we have added a way to translate short texts via SMS.

  • Number to send to: 1961
  • Example message: #g eng2dan Text to translate.
  • Price: 5.00 DKR (2.00 DKR if the message fails to translate)

The message has three parts:

  • #g: The code required to forward the message to us.
  • eng2dan: The language pair to translate as, in this case Danish to English.
  • Text to translate. The service does not currently understand SMS shorthand, so at the moment please send spelling/grammatically correct text.

Valid language pairs are currently:

  • Danish to English, which can be written as: dan2eng, da2en, daen, d2e, or de.
  • English to Danish, which can be written as: eng2dan, en2da, enda, e2d, or ed.

Examples of valid messages:

  • #g d2e Dette er en stump tekst.
  • #G ED This is a piece of text.
  • #G daen Noget mere tekst.

The format is rather strict so malformed messages will not return anything.

This service is made possible through Hardwired.
